About The Willows Preschool

The Willows Preschool began in 2004 and was based in a classroom in North Bradley Primary School. This led to strong links with school and makes the transition from preschool to "big" school almost seamless.

In September 2009 The Willows moved to a purpose built classroom in the grounds of North Bradley Primary school which has it's own outdoor area. This has enabled us to have more children (and staff) in each day and has increased our resources and potential enormously. We now have free flow play every day, and the children have so much space to move around.

Historically we had visited the school twice a week for PE in their hall, and also had taken the older children into reception class for stories and play time. We have had to put this on hold at present due to Covid-19 but hope to restart this as soon as it is safe to do so.

The Willows is run by a voluntary committee mainly made up of parents. The committee is responsible for overseeing the running of the pre-school. We have regular committee meetings and these are open for all parents to attend. Details of the next committee meeting are always posted on the notice boards on site.

We are members of the Preschool Learning Alliance (PLA) and are registered with Ofsted.
